I was diagnosed with androgenic alopecia when I was in my mid 20s (I'm almost 46 now). It seems to have gotten worse since then and I worry about what will happen when I get into menopause. I've been using Toppik powder. While it seems to work well, the rest of my hair still looks thin and frizzy and I have to put on a lot of hairspray to get it to stay put. So I'm wondering, does the hair loss ever stop with androgenic alopecia or will it just get worse? I'm thinking of just giving up and getting a wig. Thanks in advance.
